Is there a fee to use your service?
No! There is never a fee to job seekers for our services. ACCU is paid for by the companies that
hire us to provide them with staff.
How can I interview for a job I saw online?
You can apply online to any of the positions offered on our site. Doing so will alert us to your interest. We will then call you to set up an appointment for you to meet with a staffing consultant. You can also simply call a branch directly to arrange your interview right away.
Can I get a permanent job through ACCU?
Absolutely! Our services are not limited to temporary placements. ACCU Personnel, our permanent placement division, is designed exclusively for full time placements. ACCU also offers temp-to-hire positions that allow you to sample potential full time positions before committing to one. Temporary employees are not permitted to solicit employment from client companies during assignments but if there is a mutual interest in extending the employment beyond the temporary assignment, ACCU will make the appropriate arrangements upon proper notification.
Is temping right for me?
With the flexibility that temping can provide, there's a very good chance that it could work for you. Temping allows you to try out different opportunities within your skill set, giving you plenty of new experience for bulking up that resume! It also encourages growth and independence because it enables you to work on your own terms. Temping is also a great networking opportunity and the contacts you make at your assignments can prove to be helpful down the road.
Who benefits from temporary work?
Temporary employment appeals to a wide range of people. Many students and recent graduates seek out temp work because they want to quickly gain
job experience. Retirees and those returning to the workforce after a disability or layoff benefit from temp jobs that help refresh their job skills and ease them back into a working environment. Teachers, stay-at-home parents, and seasonal workers enjoy the short term commitment of temp work when they are on school breaks or temporarily laid off while freelancers and start up-business owners rely on the flexibility temping affords so they can focus on their independent ventures. Our workforce is very diverse on every level. ACCU Staffing Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any applicant with regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
Who are your customers?
Our customers range from industrial and commercial distributors to Fortune 500 companies. Some are national corporations while others are smaller private companies. Our customer database is as diverse as our workforce so there are plenty of opportunities on multiple levels.
What happens if I don’t like my assignment?
When you accept an assignment with ACCU, you are expected to complete it. However, we understand that on occasion problems do arise. If you have a problem with your assignment, contact us immediately. Don’t ever walk off an assignment. We will help you resolve the conflict or if necessary, help you find other work. Do you offer benefits?

How is ACCU different from other services?
We strive to take a very personal approach to staffing. After all, we are in the business of working with human beings and you should expect to be treated like one. ACCU recognizes that our employees are just as important as our customers and we work hard to equally accommodate both their needs. It is the dedication and hard work of others that has helped us succeed for over 28 years. We are very appreciative of our workforce and we’re not afraid to show it!
